Insurance Deductions

  • Insurance premiums are deducted each pay period and the amount is determined by the following:

    • 12 month Employees including Teachers 24 pay periods divided by 2
    • 9/10 month Employees 18 pay periods divided by 2 (your coverage is for 12 months)

    *It is often necessary to make an adjustment for health insurance to ensure that the correct amount is withheld for the period of September through August. This one time adjustment is made shortly after the new calendar rates begin; individual notification is not made.
    District contribution amounts for each type of insurance are available in your labor group contract/agreement. Employee contributions are made on a pretax basis for medical and dental insurance.

  • Use your same login to access the benefit portal year-round to review your benefit elections, process life event enrollment changes, address changes, name changes or update beneficiaries.

    You can also change your PIN (password) at any time using the Change My Pin option on the You & Your Family menu.

Life and LTD Certificates

  • All current Life and LTD Certificate of Insurance are located in your Benefit Portal. 

    All MetLife Life and LTD Benefit Summaries are located in your form library in your benefit portal. 

    Once you login to your portal click on the page Icon in the upper right hand corner and then click on Form Library.
