Rockford High School Principal
Mr. Menard received his B.A. in English Education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, his M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, and his K-12 principal licensure through the University of Minnesota.
During his teaching career, Mr. Menard taught English, Theater, and Public Speaking; he also coached baseball, directed theatrical productions, served as IB CAS Coordinator and helped to implement the Diploma Program. In his time teaching, he learned to make genuine connections with students through humor, honest conversation, and a sincere interest in their aspirations.
Mr. Menard has experience as an Assistant Principal and Principal in the St. Cloud and Rochester areas. He has also worked in higher education as the Director of Teacher Education at Marian University. His hopes for the school year is that we can maintain and strengthen the culture of Rockford High School, enhance relationships with all students, continue to educate and engage stakeholders through the IB process, and prepare students for college and career readiness through strong leadership, aligned priorities, and a common goal for all students to realize their potential.
