Arrive to school on time - tardies matter Students arriving after the morning bell will be considered tardy and must report to the school office to obtain a pass to class. Tardies in which a student has an excused pass from a teacher or administrator will not count against the student's attendance. Tardies that could have been avoided or that do not have prior approval are considered unexcused. Examples of unexcused tardies include overslept, tired or missed the bus.
Where students should be when the bell rings Bell #1, 7:50 a.m. Students can enter the building and head to their classroom. Bell #2, 8 a.m. Five minute warning. Students should be in the building or in the locker bay headed to their room. Bell #3, 8:05 a.m. Students should be in their classroom, at their desks, ready to learn.
Students who are not in the building by 8:05 a.m. will receive a tardy slip.
